Electrolytic nickel gold or Flash-Gold

All 2CI printed circuit boards are fully finished with electrolytic nickel gold, or flash gold, in accordance with Directive RoHS 2002/95/CE, which prohibits the use of hazardous substances in electric and electronic equipment.

The electrolytic nickel gold finish covers all of the copper surface and has a series of technical and environmental advantages over other finishes, including the fact that it is much less contaminating throughout the process, as it is lead free, from manufacturing the printed circuit board to recycling used electronic equipment.

The solder stop mask isn’t deformed by dip soldering. It is extremely flat, making it easier to attach the SMD when assembling the components.

It has great superficial conductivity and facilitates greater contact, perfect for keyboards, slot connectors, etc.

The electrolytic nickel gold doesn’t rust and can be stored much longer without losing its properties.
